It was only fitting that Cleveland Public Power Leader Lineman Bob Kinstler was awarded the AMP Hard Hat Safety Award on October 11, 2018, as the public power utility was celebrating Public Power Week. Public Power Week is a national celebration, which allows utilities to showcase the work they do, and demonstrate the importance of publicly owned utilities.

The honor for providing reliable and safe electric service was presented by Neil James, Manager of Distribution Operations at Santee Cooper, South Carolina and chair of the Association’s RP3 Review Panel, in April during the Association’s annual Engineering & Operations Technical Conference held in Raleigh, N.C
